Pigs - British Saddleback, Large Black & Managalitza
Our freerange, woodland-reared pigs include British Saddlebacks, Large Blacks and very rare Mangalitzas. Whilst there are something like half a commercial breeding pigs in the UK, there are little more than 6,000 registered, rare-breed sows. At the last count, there were 505 British Saddleback sows, only 174 Large Black registered sows, and only 52 Mangalitza registered breeding sows. All of our sows are registered pedigree stock. You can help us to maintain these rare breeds by buying our piglets and the delicious meat they produce at maturity.
