  You will find Chater Valley Farm just off Pinfold Lane, Pilton, near Oakham, Rutland, which is on the Eastern border of Leicestershire. If you are approaching from the South (or the North) on the A1, then take the A47 towards Leicester. At Morcott (look out for the white windmill on your left) take the second right turn into Morcott village. At the tee-junction, turn left towards Pilton - watch out as the road to Pilton veers right whilst the road you are on continues left towards Wing. Take this right fork. At the crossroads in Pilton, go straight ahead towards Lyndon, keeping the village church to your right. As you leave Pilton, go down the hill, and look out for the double iron gates and hanging white sign marking the entrance to the farm. If you find yourself going under the railway bridge then you've gone too far.
If you are approaching from the West Midlands on the A47, take a left into the village of Wing and then follow the road through to Pilton. At the Pilton crossroads turn left into Pilton village and the follow the directions above. |
