We are more than happy to welcome visitors to Chater Valley Farm, but please telephone first (01780 720660) to make sure it’s a good time to have a look around. We are a working farm and it’s not always possible to break off from our farm duties at short notice, but we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
There is no charge for visiting the farm, but we ask if you’d like to make a donation to help us feed our rare breed animals. We are only a small farm but there is a lot to see. We can’t show you everything we do on these pages, as there are always into new things. We have friends who run yoga and mindfulnesses courses, others who train dogs, relatives who make tree houses, and we know of probably the best chainsaw artist in the country. Occasionally we have official Open Days when there is even more to do and see. If you are in the area – especially if you are visiting nearby, do check out the website for dates and times of courses we run. There’s nothing quite like a farm tour to meet the animals.
Call us on 01780 720660 to arrange a visit.
We feel blessed to live on a farm like this in such a beautiful location. Please come and say hello but do make that call beforehand.
And in case you’re curious, it took us ages to work out what created the smiley face on our front lawn (left). Ask us when you visit, and we’ll reveal all! 🙂
